THE STORY OF
BUCKSKIN RANCH

Founded by Lorenzo Pierucci in 2020

Born with the western lifestyle in his blood, Lorenzo has been a cowboy since he can remember, the first in his family as well!

With 10 years of ranching experience under his belt as a Horse Trainer, Cattle Hand, and Rodeo Cowboy, he has moved on to open his own western oasis dubbed Bar Buckskin Ranch (derived from the color of his horse, Cisco) in the Mountains of El Dorado County, CA.

Lorenzo wanted to do this in hopes of preserving the western lifestyle here in California. His belief is that with the growing technology boom, our youth are forgetting to spend time outside, which is such a crucial part of development for humans and their social abilities... "nothing is wrong with technology but it's a parent's responsibility to teach their children the importance of balance between that and going outside and learning about the world around them... what better way to do that than on the back of a horse?"

THE RANCH

Buckskin Ranch Logo.png

Nestled along the ridge of a quiet canyon in the Sierra Nevada Mountains of Northern California is the Bar Buckskin Ranch. The 10 acre property is a beautiful and safe place for your horse(s) to learn just about all there is to be a perfect horse, just 30 minutes outside of town. We focus here on the educational aspects of the Equestrian lifestyle, offering Equine Behavioral Correction Courses, Mustang Makeover Courses, and even Horseshoeing!

Cisco

Cisco is the reason the ranch is called "Buckskin Ranch"! Her and Lorenzo have been partnered for close to 10 years!
